Take a walk down memory lane with these Canada’s Wonderland postcards from the 1980s and 1990s! Flash back to the time of Hanna-Barbera Land, Paramount’s Star Trek characters and visit with loved rides from the park’s past, like Zumba Flume, Jet Scream and SkyRider.

Above (circa 1992): “Canada's Wonderland has over 300 fun-filled acres to delight and amuse the family, including a 10-acre water playground located right in the heart of the park! Choose from 16 exciting water rides, from 8-storey speed slides to a relaxing lazy river. Plus remember with all our thrills and shows... half the fun is drying off!”

Zumba Flume Canada's Wonderland postcard

Above, Zumba Flume (1981-1994): “This watery ride is one of the most popular rides in the park. The boat carries you through a winding maze of canals, splashing and spraying along the way. As you reach the end of your ride, it plunges down a 40-foot drop to a trough of water.”

Above (circa 1986): “Stand on the shores of Arthur's Baye and witness a magnificent presentation of acrobatics by a crew of pirates. This exciting performance is only one of the many excellent shows that await you at Canada's Wonderland.”

Above, SkyRider (1985-2014): “There’s standing room only on this thrilling attraction, SKYRIDER – Canada’s only stand-up, looping roller coaster carries riders in a standing position over 2,231 feet of steel track, through a 360 degree vertical loop and a spectacular 540 degree helix that places riders parallel to the ground.”
